History
Lyand'r is the son of Blackfire the current queen of Tameran. Blackfire offered to let the Citadel experiment on her son for there failure with Starfire in order to keep peace on her new Tyrannic Tameran. Although the Citidel were successful Lyn managed to escape with the help of his new powers, and went to Earth seeking out his aunt Starfire. When Lyn arrives on Earth he lands in Solar City. Shortly after he arrived he saw some thief’s robbing a bank. Lyn easily stopped them then began exploring the city in search of a clue as to were his aunt might be. Lyn naturally has a very kind and loving heart and unlike his aunt and his Mom Lyn doesn't have strong anger issues. He's very much in control of himself. One night while sleeping outside in a park he saw a bright violet light descend from above which revealed itself to be Star Sapphire. Star Sapphire could easily attune with his loving heart and offered him a place to stay at his home.
THE DOOMED DAMSEL
Star Sapphire notified Lyn that true love was in jeopardy and that he must go save it. Lyn offered to help him and took the name Firestar in honor of his aunt he's looking for. Star Sapphire used his ring to teleport the two heroes to the location of Superstar and Wonderboy. After getting caught up the small team of heroes ventured off to the portal that would take them to the place Superstar's partner was being held captive. After avoiding a number of obstacles the groups find's themselves at a five way cross road. Having little time to spar the group split up, everyone going down a separate passage. Lyn encounter Blackfire at the end of his pathway. The two viciously battled but Lyn was able to defeat his mother. He continued down out the other end of the road to find out that Superstar and Wonderboy won their fights but Star Sapphire was defeated. The trio battled Cory's kidnapper and succeeded in setting him free, but Boywonder snuck up behind the group and caught Cory in his lasso instantly turning him into black daimond. In a rage Superstar shot after Boywonder but he disappeared in the shadows. After the group recovered Star Sapphire and exited the portal Superstar flew off alone with Cory's statue. Wonderboy thanked the two for their assistance before flying off as well.
STARLIGHTS
Shortly after these events Star Sapphire formed a team to fight for and protect love in Solar City. They are known as the Starlights... Star Sapphire, Surge, Firestar, Superstar (Honorary Members)... Indigo Lantern, Wonderboy, Miss Magician.
TITAN'S DELTA
While serving as a Starlight Lyn was told about Starfire's involvement with the Teen Titan's in San Francisco. He journeyed their alone meeting some heroes along the way and finally got to meet his aunt Starfire as well as the rest of the Titan's. Soon after Blackfire's henchmen caught up to Firestar while he was with Starfie and the two worked together to defeat them. Starfire took Lyn under her wing and gave him a spot with the Delta Titan's.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Tamaranean Solar Absorption: Firestar's alien physiology constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it to energy. He can also absorb the ultraviolet radiation from other life forms.
Flight:
Starbolts: Firestar went through the same solar absorption experiments performed on Starfire by the alien Psions granting him the amazing power and ability to channel and project that same energy into destructive blasts called "starbolts".
Durability: Lyn is quite durable and is capable of taking multiple blows from Class 100+ metahuman's with little more then a scratch or a bruise.
Speed: Lyn is capable of reaching speeds necessary to escape velocity.
Heightened Stamina: Lyn can operate at his maximum for several hours before his fatigue toxins begin to take effect.
